Day 2: 6/21/19
Day 2....
Lets just go with this so far..... Hotel lobbies are perfect in the morning to sit and get some work done. And by work I mean not work.... seriously. I have not clocked in. I need to get some work done for my job (I can work remotely) but eh. Reddit is a lot more fun! 😂
Okay.... scratch that. They are only perfect for about an hour and then the kids wake up and start running through the halls (Baseball event in town).
I ended up just watching Doctor Who on Prime and relaxing until the guy got off work. He was bored during work today... I know because he would text me pictures sitting by the pool helping Lifeguard.
Noon rolls around and he is off for vacation. We left and headed towards Kansas City. Many interesting chats were had on this trip (except the major one about us potentially going Official but you know...) and the time passed quickly. Many Laughs were had as well and we both learned a bit more about each other.
We finally rolled into Kansas City about 4ish and began to unload the trailer with the Audio Equipment. It was just me and him for a little while until our other buddy got off work. We had one other friend coming down to run some lights as well. He arrived later that night.
We were at Union Station in KC until about 2am. We made friends with the KCPD officers that were patrolling and monitoring the exhibits overnight. Lets just say that night we were all tired.
Sadly we only got like 4 or 5 hours of sleep....
